Dance Is Back — Starting from the Basics

Dance Is Back — Starting from the Basics 1
1 / 3
On January 18, we brought back our Sunday dance classes, though it was more of a warmup session to ease everyone back in. Some familiar faces showed up, along with a few newcomers giving Tango their first try. It was great to be moving together again.

The full lessons officially start on January 25. We'll begin from scratch and cover the basic 8 and Ochos, to give everyone time to find their footing and settle into the rhythm. If you’ve danced Tango before and want a reset, or if you’ve never tried it at all, this is a great time to join.

The new Sunday classes are designed so you can simply show up and learn during the session itself. Everything you need is taught in the room, at a pace that works for the group.

That being said, our instructors are also working on a full curriculum for those who want to take their learning further. This will be available for dancers who enjoy more structure and want a deeper understanding of the dance. But of course, it is completely optional.

Even in just one session, we've already felt a familiar energy return: learning together, messing up, laughing it off, and improving side by side. It's reminded us why we enjoy dancing in the first place.

If you have been thinking about dancing again, or if you have always been curious but never tried, now is a good time to start. Tango classes are held every Sunday at 5:00 PM. A van service is available at 7:30 PM for those who live in the Naga area. We'd be glad to have you join us.

Godbless,
Soli Deo Gloria
